During the development of the Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment and the Protocol to the Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment on Matters Specific to Aircraft Equipment, it emerged that some of their provisions (for example, provisions permitting the exercise of extra-judicial remedies) could be inconsistent with principles inherent to some legal systems. To enable the benefits of the Convention and Aircraft Protocol to be made widely available, the Convention and the Aircraft Protocol give Contracting States the opportunity, in Articles that provide for declarations to be made, to make choices in respect of those Articles.
Texts of declarations deposited under the Aircraft Protocol arranged by Article:
|Article XIX(1)||Article XXX(1)||Article XXX(5)|
|Article XXVII(2)||Article XXX(2)|
|Article XXIX||Article XXX(3)|
