languages, was adopted in Geneva, Switzerland on 9 October 2009 by the diplomatic Conference to adopt a Convention on Substantive Rules regarding Intermediated Securities. The Conference decided pursuant to Resolution 1 that the Convention be known as the "Geneva Securities Convention". The text of the Convention became authentic upon verification by the Secretariat of the Conference under the authority of the President of the Conference within 120 days from the date of adoption as to the consistency of the texts with one another.
