On 9 October 2009 the Diplomatic Conference to adopt a Convention on Substantive Rules regarding Intermediated Securities, held in Geneva under the auspices of the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT), at the invitation of the Government of Switzerland, adopted the UNIDROIT Convention on Substantive Rules for Intermediated Securities.
The project on "Transactions on transnational and connected capital markets" is being conducted on an item-by-item basis.
