hcch judgments convention img01On 18 - 19 June and 28 June - 2 July 2019 UNIDROIT participated in the 22nd Diplomatic Session of the HCCH for the adoption of the 2019 Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Judgments in Civil or Commercial Matters

 

 

 

 

hcch judgments convention img02Deputy Secretary-General Anna Veneziano attended the opening of the session on 18 June, and Senior Legal Officer William Brydie-Watson represented UNIDROIT at the signing ceremony in the Great Hall of Justice in the Peace Palace on 2 July. The Convention, once implemented, will help reduce transactional and litigation costs in cross-border dealings and improve access to justice.
