img01On 30 April 2021, Ms Marina Schneider, UNIDROIT Principal Legal Officer and Treaty Depositary, delivered a lecture to students of the Master’s programme Policies and Governance in Europe (PAGE) of the LUISS University in Rome.

The lecture was delivered within the advanced module in European Union law and Regulation aiming at providing key instruments to analyse EU regulation in context. It was introduced by Prof. Marise Cremona, Emeritus Professor, European University Institute, and focused on the application of EU law and regulation in UNIDROIT’s instruments, in particular relating to cultural heritage. Ms Schneider also spoke about the aims of UNIDROIT, what it does, and how its international instruments differ from EU harmonisation measures in terms of negotiation and drafting procedures and implementation via national law.
