CAPE TOWN CONVENTION: SIGNATURE OF LUXEMBOURG RAIL PROTOCOL AND SPACE PROTOCOL BY FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY

On 21 November 2012, the Federal Republic of Germany signed the Luxembourg Protocol to the Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment on Matters specific to Railway Rolling Stock (the Rail Protocol) and the Protocol to the Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment on Matters specific to Space Assets (the Space Protocol), in each case the signature being accompanied by a declaration. Further details about the Cape Town Convention and its protocols are available at the “Depositary Functions of UNIDROIT” page.
The UNIDROIT Secretary-General, Mr José Angelo Estrella Faria, issued a press statement in relation to the signature.
