SUMMARY:Second Edition of the UPICC International Arbitration Moot
DESCRIPTION:Marking UNIDROIT’s Centenary\, the second edition of the UPICC International Arbitration Moot will hold its preliminary rounds in Hong Kong from 4 to 6 November 2026.\nThe competition is co-organised by the UNIDROIT Asian Transnational Law Centre (ATLC) and the Beijing Arbitration Commission / Beijing International Arbitration Court / China (Beijing) Securities and Futures Arbitration Center (“BAC/BIAC”).\nThrough simulated international arbitration proceedings\, students will research and apply the UNIDROIT Principles of International Commercial Contracts to a hypothetical international commercial dispute.\nThe UPICC Moot offers an opportunity to develop advocacy skills and deepen understanding of international contract law and arbitration.\nThe top four teams in the preliminary rounds will advance to the semi-final and final rounds\, to be held at UNIDROIT’s headquarters in Rome.
