LODGED BY THE REPUBLIC OF COLOMBIA UNDER THE CAPE TOWN CONVENTION AT THE TIME OF THE DEPOSIT OF ITS INSTRUMENT OF ACCESSION
In accordance with Articles 54 and 56 of the Convention Colombia declares that:
a) In relation to Article 8 of the Convention, the remedies available to the creditor will be exercised only with leave of the court;
b) In respect of Article 39 of the Convention, the employee company rights and fiscal debts will have priority over an international interest registered under this Convention.
The International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT) is an independent intergovernmental Organisation with its seat in the Villa Aldobrandini in Rome. Its purpose is to study needs and methods for modernising, harmonising and co-ordinating private and in particular commercial law as between States and groups of States and to formulate uniform law instruments, principles and rules to achieve those objectives.
