MAC PROTOCOL ECONOMIC ASSESSMENT PREDICTS SIGNIFICANT BENEFITS FOR UNIDROIT MEMBER STATES

Finalised in August 2018, the MAC Protocol Economic Assessment provides an in-depth analysis of the costs and benefits for states who adopt and ratify the future agreement. Prepared by a team of independent economists, the Economic Assessment predicts that the MAC Protocol will have a positive impact of $23 billion on GDP in developing countries and of $7 billion in developed countries, for a total annual impact of $30 billion.
