UNIDROIT HOSTS CONFERENCE ON COGNITIVE ERRORS AND ARBITRATION

On 27 October 2016, UNIDROIT hosted a conference, co-organised with Roma Tre University and the Chamber of Arbitration of Milan. The Conference, opened by the President of UNIDROIT, Professor Alberto Mazzoni, Professor  Ferruccio Auletta of the University of Naples “Federico II” and President of Chamber of Arbitration for public contracts at ANAC, and Professor Andrea Zoppini of Roma Tre University, featured a Keynote Speech by Professor Jeffrey J. Rachlinski (Henry Allen Mark – Cornell University) entitled “The Psychological Aspects of the Decision Making Process: Inside the Arbitrators’ Mind”. The Keynote Speech was followed by two interdisciplinary panels where eminent legal experts dialogued with their counterparts in the field of psychology.
