UNIDROIT Archive and Library declared of National Interest

UNIDROIT is delighted to announce that the Italian Ministry of Culture, Special Superintendency for the Roman Fine Arts and Landscape, Regional Commission for the Cultural Heritage of Lazio, has issued a decree, officially declaring the UNIDROIT Historical Archive “of particularly important historical interest”, and the UNIDROIT Library of “exceptional cultural interest”.

Such declarations issued at the beginning of UNIDROIT’s Centenary lend even more prestige and recognition to the extraordinary nature of the collections housed both in the UNIDROIT Library and the Historical Archive and will allow UNIDROIT to access funding towards conservation, preservation and dissemination of the unique collections housed in Villa Aldobrandini.
