UNIDROIT Advances Cooperation with Mongolia

On 1 July, UNIDROIT Deputy Secretary-General Professor Anna Veneziano undertook a mission to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, which included meetings with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Justice and Home Affairs.

Professor Veneziano first visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, where she was received by Mr Batzorig Enkhbold, Deputy Director-General of the Law and Treaty Department, and his team. During the meeting, both parties discussed Mongolia’s engagement with UNIDROIT instruments and prospects for future cooperation.

 

Later that day, Professor Veneziano visited the Ministry of Justice and Home Affairs of Mongolia, where she met with Mr Munkh-Erdene Dembereltseren, Deputy Minister of Justice and Home Affairs. Discussions covered the latest developments regarding Mongolia’s implementation of UNIDROIT instruments, as well as prospective cooperation initiatives. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening the bilateral relationship between Mongolia and UNIDROIT.

These meetings reflected the strengthening ties between UNIDROIT and Mongolia, laying the groundwork for further cooperation going forward.
