INAUGURAL ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL ARBITRATION LECTURE 2014 – A SUCCESSFUL EVENT

On Friday, 19 September, Professor Ugo Draetta of the Catholic University of Milan, delivered the first of the Annual International Arbitration Lectures organised jointly by the University of Roma Tre and UNIDROIT. This year’s lecture was on “The transnational procedural rules for arbitration and their impact: is there a risk of overregulation?”. The lecture was held in English at the seat of UNIDROIT, Via Panisperna 28, Rome, at 15.30. Participants were welcomed by Anna Veneziano, Deputy Secretary-General of UNIDROIT, and Andrea Zoppini, Professor at the University Roma Tre. The lecture attracted over 80 registered participants from all backgrounds, institutional, academic as well as large number of private practice lawyers.
