UNIDROIT signs Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Bari Aldo Moro

On 19 July, UNIDROIT entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Bari Aldo Moro to strengthen their cooperation in legal research and education.

The MoU was signed by Secretary-General Professor Ignacio Tirado, on behalf of UNIDROIT, and by Professor Stefano Bronzini, Rector of the University of Bari Aldo Moro.

The signing ceremony was followed by a brief exchange of views between Professor Antonio Leandro, the University’s focal point for the collaboration, Dr Philine Wehling, Legal Officer and focal point for the collaboration at UNIDROIT, and Professor Giovanni Lagioia, Director of the University’s Department of Economy, Management and Business Law, on avenues for the envisaged cooperation and exchange between both institutions. Among others, it is envisaged to introduce UNIDROIT’s work to students through seminars, courses, or other events to be held at the University, UNIDROIT’s seat in Rome, or online through digital platforms.
