On 12 June 2019, the Government of Côte d’Ivoire notified UNIDROIT of subsequent declarations under Articles 39(1)(a), 40, 52, 53 and 54(2) of the Convention and under Articles XXIX, XXX(1), XXX(2) and XXX(3) of the Aircraft Protocol. These subsequent declarations will take effect on 1 January 2020.
On 6 and 7 June 2019, UNIDROIT co-organised with the University of Gdańsk and the University of Opole two international conferences in Gdansk (Poland) to promote the accession of Poland to the 1995 UNIDROIT Convention on Stolen or Illegally Exported Cultural Objects and to discuss private art collections.
As part of the finalization of the future UNIDROIT/FAO/IFAD Legal Guide on Agricultural Land Investment Contracts (ALIC), the ALIC Zero Draft is submitted to extended consultations to raise awareness and to seek further inputs from stakeholders.
