INTERNATIONAL STEERING COMMITTEE

The International Steering Committee (ISC) is responsible for overseeing the planning and implementation of the Centenary celebrations, ensuring they reflect the organisation’s mission, values, and strategic objectives.

Composed of members representing diverse legal systems and geographical regions, the ISC plays a key role in promoting Centenary events and workstreams within their respective professional networks and communities.

The ISC is chaired by Professor Sir Roy Goode, the Emeritus Professor at the University of Oxford.

The ISC is composed of senior figures from the global legal and institutional community, including UNIDROIT’s former and current Doyens, representatives of the UNIDROIT Governing Council, and the heads of key international legal institutions and associations. Its confirmed members include:

  • Hon. Leonardo Nemer Caldeira Brant, Judge at the International Court of Justice; Member of the UNIDROIT Governing Council
