On 27 January 2026, the semi-final and final rounds of the 2025 UNIDROIT UPICC International Arbitration Moot Competition were held at UNIDROIT’s headquarters in Rome. Co-organised by the UNIDROIT Asian Transnational Law Centre (ATLC) and the Shanghai International Arbitration Centre (SHIAC), the final rounds marked the successful completion of the first edition of the Moot competition.

The preliminary rounds brought together nearly 150 participants and were presided over by approximately 70 distinguished arbitrators representing eight jurisdictions. Following intense competition, the top four teams earned their place in the semi-final and final rounds in Rome: (i) De La Salle University Tañada-Diokno School of Law, (ii) National University of Sciences and Technologies, (iii) Tongji University and (iv) Shanghai Jiaotong University, representing three jurisdictions: the Philippines, Pakistan, and China.
