UNIDROIT Secretariat welcomes students from the Loyola University Chicago

On 27 March 2024, UNIDROIT welcomed a delegation of students from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law, accompanied by Professor Thomas F. McInerney, Executive Director, and Ms. Monica Barbosi, Associate Director of the Rule of Law for Development Program.

UNIDROIT Deputy Secretary-General Professor Anna Veneziano delivered welcome remarks and Legal Consultant Ms Theodora Kostoula gave a presentation on the Institute, its working methods and an overview of existing instruments and currently ongoing projects. Special attention was drawn to the recently adopted UNIDROIT Principles on Digital Assets and Private Law. The presentation was followed by a tour of the UNIDROIT Library, guided by Librarian Ms Bettina Maxion.
